M.A.S.T.S. does not accept self-referrals. Young People must be referred by a professional person/agency e.g. Incommnities, Social Services, Barnardos, Other Housing Projects, Health Visitors, Youth Workers, YOT/Probation etc.

The Young Person being referred must also meet the following criteria:

1. Be aged between 16 & 25.
2. Be in need of accommodation / homeless / potentially homeless / in inadequate or sub-standard housing.
3. Need support in order to promote independent living skills.
4. Be willing to maintain regular contact with M.A.S.T.S. Housing Support Workers and agree to a planned package of support.
5. Have some basic independent living skills, due to the Project only being open during normal office hours.
6. Be willing to live in the Allerton area of Bradford, as this is the only place M.A.S.T.S. has accommodation.
